What do I want? goals

You’ve made the decision to stop having Problematic Cannabis Use. We congratulate you on it and encourage you to continue.

In this step you are going to make your list of objectives. In the next step you will specify the actions necessary to achieve these objectives. Let’s get started.

Look for goals that:

  • are realistic,
  • are achievable with moderate effort,
  • allow you to start with things that are easy, simple and affordable,
  • you can increase the difficulty little by little,
  • are related to the different aspects of problematic consumption: frequency of consumption, social and family relations, cognitive and emotional processes, psychological health.

REGARDING THE FREQUENCY OF CONSUMPTION:

  • Today I’m going to change my type of consumption.
  • Today I am going to reduce my consumption.
  • Today I’m not going to use cannabis.

CONCERNING RELATIONS:

  • Today I’m going to increase my time with friendships that don’t consume.
  • Today I’m going to take care of family relationships.
  • Today I’m going to take care of my relationships.

REGARDING COGNITIVE AND EMOTIONAL PROCESSES:

REGARDING MY PSYCHOLOGICAL HEALTH:

  • Today I’m going to ask for professional help.

Start today. Remember that each objective must carry with it a proposal for concrete action. Here are some ideas in the next step: How am I going to do it?

Do you control it?
