The Emotional Intelligence Test will help you reflect on yourself and on the way you deal with certain aspects of your emotions.
It will help you to know your emotions, to be aware of them, how we feel them in our body and the thoughts and behaviors that accompany them.
The aim is to make sense of your experience and help make it more coherent.
To be more competent to generate positive emotions voluntarily and consciously and to adopt appropriate behaviours that allow us to better face life’s challenges.
How to do it?
“The term emotion refers to a feeling and the thoughts, biological states, psychological states and the type of tendencies to the action that characterize it.” (L. Greenberg)
There are different authors and theories, but we can consider that these are the basic emotions: anger, sadness, fear, joy, love and surprise.
We already know the basic emotions, now we will go deeper. Greenberg classifies emotions as primary, secondary and instrumental.
